Getting boats to fly above the water surface is simple in theory, but tricky in practice and has challenged designers for over a century. Starting from 1980s some huge advances was made in this direction. Not just for fun or sports, but to gain some day to day functional advantages and enhanced efficiency. The new foiling technology once invented for military usage in 1980 found its way in service boating and RIB tenders used for varied purposes. Since the creation of RIB boats in early 1970s development concentrated on enhancing power capability and materials used. Hard hull slamming, instability and increasing fuel consumption were considered as unbeatable side-effects for long time. Until in the beginning of 1980s when two men in the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa enhanced RIB technology with catamaran hulls and foils. Bering 70 recently made a cruising from Antalya to Cyprus. The distance of more than 420 km was passed within 26 hours. We left the port of Kemer at 6 p.m. on Friday and following by the full moon started our journey across the absolutely calm sea. It was a wonderful luck that the weather in the middle of January was sunny and the predictions promised that the sea would be smooth for a several days. The aim of this journey was to deliver the demo version of Hysucat RIB 28 to be available for sea trials in Cyprus. Hysucat 28 is 8.5 m length RIB. Fuel capacity – 60 gal. (227 litres) Maximum speed – 60 Mph (52 knots). The plan was to get inside Hysucat and to cross the distance of 100 km left in an hour and a half while Bering 70 would continue to cross it at its cruising speed of 8 knots. Bering 70 provided

The 35th America’s Cup Match will be presented by Louis Vuitton beginning on 17th June, 2017. Foiling RIB’s is the proud supplier of several Hysucat 8.5 RIB’s which will be used by the Artemis Racing team for the VIP viewing of the America’s Cup Bermuda yacht race.
May is the peak spring fishing month on Ocracoke Island. Whether surf fishing, inshore, or offshore, there is a chance for the catch of a lifetime. The three day Reel Nauti Fishing Tournament held in Ocracoke NC concluded a successful and exciting event for the Hysucat team. Loaded with fishing features such as multiple live-wells, over sized fish boxes, and a spacious deck, the Hysucat CC30 performed perfectly and the crew had plenty of fun. Hysucat CC30 Sport fisher can be used as an offshore-fishing boat as well as a recreational family boat. The center console measures 30 feet and 4 inches and boasts a wide 9’6’’beam; it’s powered by twin Suzuki 300 HP outboards and can reach a maximum speed of 56 mph, cruising comfortably at about 35 mph. The hydrofoil patented design of the CC30 make for a very dry, smooth ride in rough water, while the boat remaining stable when drifting in a beam sea.
